Leonardo DiCaprio Cracks Self-Referential Joke As His Oscar Gets Engraved
It looks like it may take a while for Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscar win will take a while to sink in for the star as he’s been spotted making fun of himself backstage at the Oscars.
The star who finally won the Best Actor prize on his sixth nomination was filmed by Variety getting his name engraved onto the coveted trophy, and while he watched the artist at work he casually asked: “You do this every year?”
She nodded back, and he instantly replied with “I wouldn’t know.”
Fair play Leo.
The actor finally won the Best Actor award for playing Hugh Glass in ‘The Revenant’ which also scooped a Best Directing award for Alejandro González Iñárritu on the night.
